California Proposition 65 Compliance Statement

California Proposition 65, officially known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, became law in November 1986. It requires that businesses provide warnings to Californians and others doing business in the State of California about significant exposures to chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. In August 2016, the State of California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) adopted certain amendments to Article 6, Clear and Reasonable Warnings for California Proposition 65. As of June 2019, more than 1000 chemicals were listed. For more information on warnings, go to www.p65warnings.ca.gov.

Laurel Electronics believes that its products are generally safe because these are electronic products that cannot be consumed by eating, drinking or breathing, and that these do not contain chemicals listed by California Proposition 65 in concentrations resulting in exposures above safe levels determined by OEHHA. However certain electronic components and their coatings may contain small amounts of listed chemicals. Accordingly, Laurel is now affixing the warning label below to its products and to their packaging.
